Kamenki is situated in the valley at the foot of the Rhodope Mountains, at the beginning of a road leading to the highest point in the region - Mount Varhovrah (1,633 metres). 16 kilometers further up the road, you will find the picturesque village of Skobelevo. Climbing to it poses a real challenge. The difference in altitude of 800 metres is covered after passing over 300 bends. There used to be an ancient Roman road running through this village, which connected Philippopolis with Via Egnatia and the towns from the Aegean Sea. And  from here you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Upper Thracian Plain.
